On Saturday 14th May a group of 8 of us climbed Scafell Pike, the highest mountain in England. We took the route from Wasdale Head and reached the 978m high summit around lunchtime and sat in beautiful sunshine enjoying the view. In total, the walk took us 6 hours with several breaks to enjoy the scenery.
