Nick Pryor was employed by Edward Erdman & Company, in its development department, before joining John Trott & Son (now JTS) in the early 1980’s, and on 31st September 2019 retired as the firm’s Senior Partner. He now acts as a consultant to the firm.
He has over 30 years’ experience in dealing with all aspects of town and country planning and development appraisals and has given evidence at numerous public and local inquiries, informal hearings, EIPs and in the County Court.

Nick acts for national development companies, major house builders, multiple retailer, religious and charitable institutions and local planning authorities, as well as private individuals.

Recent work within Kent covers a wide variety of planning and development matters and has included the proposed residential redevelopment of school sites at Folkestone. In 2009, Nick gave expert planning witness evidence, at a public inquiry, which resulted in a successful challenge to the Kent Thameside Strategic Transport Tariff.
