Planning permission granted for replacement windows to a property within a Conservation Area in Brentwood

JTS has successfully secured planning permission to replace a number of, mostly, non-original windows, and infill two door openings at a site in Brentwood.

The proposal has been sensitively designed to respect the character of the property and the contribution that it makes to the significance of the Town Centre Conservation Area. The replacement of the existing windows, in the manor proposed, will improve the appearance of the building and thus the contribution that it makes to the street scene and the character and appearance of the Town Centre Conservation Area.

Accordingly, the LPA agreed with our assessment of the proposal, and concluded that there is no conflict with any development plan policies. This is a sustainable development and planning permission was approved subject to appropriate conditions.
