Planning permission has finally been granted by Brentwood Borough Council for the construction of six new dwellings with associated access, parking and amenity space at a site in Shenfield, Brentwood.
Throughout the lifetime of the application we successfully and proactively liaised with the case officer to deal with the many issues arising and responded to comments from consultees and the public. We also liaised with the architect and client to provide amendments to the design of the new dwellings that were sought by the LPA. This included consideration of back-to-back distances, layout and scale.
As a result, the LPA considered that the proposed development is compliant with the identified policies of the Brentwood Local Plan and the aims and objectives of the NPPF and NDG and GRANTED planning permission subject to a full suite of conditions.
