JTS has secured planning permission for a local developer to demolish an existing commercial building and yard and erect and two-bedroom single storey dwelling in Brentwood.
The site had been the subject of three previous applications and two appeals for a range of residential development proposals before our client purchased the site. In reviewing the decisions, it was clear that this was a difficult site, with neighbouring residential properties in close proximity, an established building frontage along the road and limited space for private amenity space.
Working with our client and their architect, we were able to advise on the scheme that was likely to secure planning consent and prepared a Planning Statement to support the application.
Liaising with the Planning Officer throughout the course of the application, a positive decision was secured.
