JTS has successfully secured planning permission and listed building consent for minor alterations and the refurbishment of the customer areas at The Fox and Raven public house, in Chelmsford, which is a Grade II listed building.
No alterations are proposed to the structure of the building or its layout. No fixtures or fittings or heritage significance will be impacted, with the work solely affecting modern public house inserts.
As a result, we argued that the proposals will cause no harm to the significance of the building, or its setting, or the contribution that it makes to the character and appearance of the Conservation Area.
Accordingly, the LPA agreed with our assessment of the proposals, and granted planning permission and listed building consent, subject to standard conditions.
