JTS has successfully negotiated planning consent for 5 townhouses in Ongar. The properties feature private parking, courtyard gardens and a communal amenity area. The townhouses have been designed with false chimney stacks, red brick and slate roofs to conserve and enhance the appearance of the Conservation Area.
The full planning application was submitted in July 2019 but a decision was stalled until February 2022 whilst a strategy was put in place to mitigate the impacts of air pollution on the Epping Forest Special Area of Conservation (EFSAC). The development has the potential to result in a net increase in traffic using the roads through the EFSAC and a financial contribution was agreed to mitigate these impacts.
