Planning permission secured for the development of Oval Park, Langford, Maldon

JTS has secured planning permission for the development of Oval Park, in Langford, for two successful local businesses – Maldon Salt & Techniq – and a business park. The applications were considered at a special meeting of Maldon District Council, which was addressed by our Nick Davey (Partner at JTS), with members voting unanimously to support the development.  The decision is the culmination of over two years work with JTS co-ordinating the project team that included highway, heritage, ecology, arboricultural, noise, drainage, heritage and archaeology consultants and leading negotiations with planning officers and statutory consultees. The permission will bring over 500 jobs to the site, with the decision being reported on the BBC (see link below). JTS will now co-ordinate the discharge of conditions so that work can start on site later this year.
