JTS has recently submitted a planning application for the demolition of the existing dwelling, formation of new access and erection of a replacement dwelling to the rear with associated garage, parking, and landscaping. The replacement dwelling is proposed as a self-build and would constitute small scale infilling of residential garden land.
The application follows a positive pre-application with the local planning authority and the principle of residential development in this back land location was accepted by Officers. The application proposes a Georgian design approach, creating an individual style within the spacious setting. Careful consideration has been given to the adjacent listed building and a heritage assessment has confirmed that there would be a neutral impact on the setting of the listed building.
