The JTS Partnership has successfully achieved planning consent in Gateshead on two separate sites for temporary use as Ground Mounted Photo-Voltaic Arrays. These Solar Panel arrays are low level and arranged in uniform rows leaving a perimeter access zone allowing for below ground electrical service and access for maintenance works. Both sites are large, in excess of 1 Hectare, and utilised in this way will make a significant contribution to the Council’s renewable and sustainable energy targets. Permission was granted for both schemes in December 2021 and works are set to begin on site in early 2022.
